The price may stay the same...
The only thing transitory about inflation is the promises they tell you.
Good morning, afternoon, & evening to you all. Welcome back to the most random newsletter on the internet. Got a few mins? Let’s dive in.
Keeping this newsletter short and sweet but it’s about one topic that leads to the ultimate topic.
The world around us is getting more expensive, but for cheaper quality, and for less of it. Are you paying attention? Why should you care, and it’s hurting everyone except for the top 1%. I mean EVERYONE. That includes you.
I’ve been yelling about this topic ever since we announced first few trill we printed in 2020.
Like broken record levels of yelling.
In fact, i’ve evolved my stance. I used to just saying that prices are going up, but that’s too simple. In fact it’s much more nuanced.
Last week I got an email about my monthly gym membership going up by 12.5% but they spared me the 29% increase for new members.
This isn’t the first or last time your fees on everything are going to jump by 10%.
I think you get my point…
Inflation doesn’t impact the ultra-wealthy. It makes everyone else suffer though. You, me, Bill, Bob, Billybob. You see, price hikes, small portions, lower quality significantly impacts everyone with smaller bank accounts.
Want to know the really messed up part? You took a 20% pay cut and they didn’t even tell you about it. Nor did you consent to it.
So did you ask your boss for a 20% raise to adjust for inflation? No… okay well, either you find a new job that will or you invest in assets that are outpacing inflation.
Invest in bitcoin. You’ll thank yourself in 10 years.
One last thing, before you elect your next senator or representative see where they decided to put the bailout money to work after covid.
Imagine how much of a greater impact we would have had to preserve our society if they went with a bottom-up approach instead of a top-down approach.
Instead, we propped up zombie corporations that will still continue to fail, and fire employees, and reward stockholders.
Imagine if we just put $6.7 trillion dollars into the hands of every man woman or child in the US? That’s how much we’ve printed in the last 18 months.

Let me do the math for you.
6,700,000,000,000 / 329,500,000 = $20,333 for every US citizen.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a proponent of giving 20 grand to every US citizen, but if given a choice, I pick bottom-up over top-down 10 out of 10 times in times of crisis.
The top doesn’t care, the top will always mess it up more.
Same time next week?
